Indie pop rockers Big City Dreams began under the bright lights of Gainesville, FL, self-releasing their debut EP, To Say the Least, in June 2004.
Touring steadily throughout 2005, the guys took time out to record a second EP, Honesty, which was independently released late that summer, and some of their music could be found popping up on various MTV shows. Vocalist/guitarist Mark Blume, bassist Scott Ripley, and guitarist/vocalist Marc Quadagno welcomed new drummer Chris into their ranks in October 2005, after the departure of original drummer Steve Pullman. Early 2006 was spent on the road with like-minded acoustic rockers Time and Distance; Big City Dreams also saw the Japanese release of both their EPs on Fabtone. Late that August, however, the band decided to go their separate ways. ~ Corey Apar
